The retention of Arabic features with a contemporary touch, “SB” is composed of simple volumes articulated by the rounded arches, traditional mashrabiyas and wooden screens. Designed around multiple circulation cores, the villa preserves views through accentuating the sense of spaciousness. The easy transition between outdoor and indoor spaces allows the surrounding nature to be seamlessly included in the building’s architecture. To ensure greater visibility into and out of the residence, tall windows provide framed glimpses of the activity within – delivering a more inclusive design. Internally, it is a secure and intimate home space that expresses an ideal of lush beauty infused with Italian elegance.
