An interpretation of the traditional Arabic style with a contemporary touch, “F” is a combination of mashrabiyas, a long line of rounded arches and the distributed volumes. The double height arched pathway starts from the entrance lobby and winds through to the landscaped rear end: connecting the immediate surrounding, maximizing natural light and views. Creating a dialogue between the nature and spaces, be it the layers of extended gardens, water features and courtyard, the residence opens up beyond the client’s spatial requirements. An interplay between the contemporary and classical style in the interior: the distinct boirserie treatment used in the bedrooms, the ornate furniture or the richness to the materials used, “F” blurs the lines between the old and the new.
